Adding warmth and color to our modern bathroom.

When my husband and I were browsing condos, one of the big reasons we chose our particular unit was because it boasted two full beautiful bathrooms.

One of the bathrooms doubles as our kids’ and guest bathroom, while the other is a gorgeous master bedroom ensuite. The ensuite features a double sink setup, as well as a large, luxurious shower with tilework that I absolutely adore.

Adding Decor to a Bathroom

When it comes to decorative touches, people tend to neglect the bathroom. I mean, you can’t blame them, right? So much focus goes into communal/entertainment areas like the living room and kitchen. Bathrooms, on the other hand, serve more as a functional room than aesthetic.

I wanted to change that.

Did you know that many condo units out there boast not just one but two bathrooms! Take a look at how we decorated our master bathroom to give it a warmer and cozy feel.

I am still in the beginning stages of our decorating process, but I’ve already added some pieces in our master bathroom.

Details That I Love About Our Master Ensuite Bathroom

These are a few details that I love about our master bathroom:

  • The beautiful quartz countertop

Why Did You Add Décor When You Loved Its Bones?

The builder grade to our entire condo is very impressive. This is why these units are ideal for  those who lead more minimal lifestyles. Truth be told, not much has to be done these condos, and that’s appealing for those who appreciate very modern, no-nonsense spaces.

Regardless, I wanted to add that touch of personalization and warmth, which is why I went ahead and put in some decorative touches to every room – including my main condo bathroom.

How I Decorated My Condo’s Master Bathroom

Here are a few things I added to give some colour and warmth to my home’s master bathroom:

  • A bamboo tray for soap, jars, and decorative plants
  • Replaced all of our soap pump bottles with apothecary-inspired bottles
  • Put our small garbage bin into a woven basket
  • Painted my own wall art
  • Reorganized our towels
  • A marble tray for our beauty routines
